Do Now Update your table of contents: Attach your study guide to page 78. On page 79: Think Pair Share: Recall three alternative energy sources that you remember from last week. What is the pathway that electricity is generated from these sources? Explain each. Complete your study guide with your group if you haven’t done so already. If you are done, check your answers with a table partner. Page # Title 78-79 Energy Study Guide and Review

Energy Transformation Poster Project You are going to select one alternative energy source and make a diagram of the energy transformations that come from that source. With your group you are going to make a poster that shows AT LEAST 10 forms of energy transformations. Each diagram must include a description of how the energy is being converted and transferred. REMEMBER: Energy transformations aren’t linear!!! Many different forms of energy can come from one transformation!
