The Fully Functioning Church The Assignment of The Fully Functioning Church Matthew 28:16-20

“Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them” Matthew 28:16

“And Jesus came and spake unto them…” Matthew 28:18a

---------------------------------------------- A Follower of Jesus ---------------------------------------------- Knowing His teaching is a start. Knowing and doing is a follower. The ultimate demonstration.

The full-time, fully engaged follower of Jesus is deliberate and intentional in knowing and doing and loving. Anything less is not to be on assignment.

“And when they saw him, they worshipped him…” Matthew 28:17a

The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus was not a good plan gone bad. It was a perfect plan carried out to perfection.

The perfect plan of the death burial and resurrection of Jesus is that He did the work and all we have to do is trust in Him.

Absolute authority over everything in heaven and upon earth is in His hands. His death, burial and resurrection proves this to be true.

The assignment is to “teach,” that is, to make disciples. “teach all nations…” The assignment is to “teach,” that is, to make disciples.
