1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month Issue May 2016 CHRIST FOR ALL NATIONS October EDITION 2016 Priestly Nation By: Lazelle Powell Israel was called out of the nations to be priestly nation. Being called out and being priestly go together. After Israel was called out of the nations, the Levites are called out and separated from the twelve tribes. The tribe of Levi would be the priestly tribe this greater priesthood meant a greater separation then out of the Levites, God called out the Cohanim, the priest, and the sons of Aaron These were separated from the sons of Levi, and in turn, had a greater ministry. Notice the principle. Each level of ministry had a separation. Each separation had a cost. the cost of Israel was that it could not participate in the ways of the nations. the cost of the Levites was they could have no land or inheritance. The cost of the Cohanim or priest was that they had additional requirements and restrictions that they had to abide by. The greater the calling the greater the separation, the greater the separation, the greater the Limitations and requirements. But the greater the limitations and requirements, the greater the ministry and the greater the blessing. Do you want to do great things for the Lord? Do you want to fulfill a great calling? Then learn from the priest of Israel. The great calling entails a great cost. So be blessed in what the Lord has given you and what the Lord has not given you. Maybe He has called you into something greater. You may not have what others have, but you have something far more valuable. You have Him and a high Holy call on top of it in the New Testament Jesus tells us when we get born all over again into the Kingdom of God through the precious blood of the Lord Jesus. We then become Priest in His Kingdom. Wow that is a high calling. Read Luke 21:34-36. One of my favorite scriptures. It keeps me looking up not around at all the temptations today. By: Leah Powell Bedgood From the Mission By: Leah Powell Bedgood . p CFAN Photo Board This fall we have had the opportunity to work around the mission to get it ready for the winter. Unfortunately, we also served as the location for a memorial service for one of our former CFAN academy students. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family of Jacob Weize. We are also planning for our upcoming Christmas Service which will be held Saturday, September 3, 2017. We have Carolyn Langerlaan bringing a group from Texas and Jackie Jacobsen bringing a group from Colorado to help. This is our largest event that we host all year. We would like to thank Evelyn Wyndam for sending handmade scarves, blankets and shawls. We also want to thank Mark Coughlin who is donating a truck load of gifts for us to hand out. Without all of you we would not be able to give each person a gift and share the love of God at this special time of year. We are still in need of 16-20 turkeys as well as all the fixings, and desserts. If you could help by donating to our Christmas Service please designate on your check or online donation Christmas Service.
