The Adventures of Tom Sawyer By: Andrew Kolva The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

Analysis I think that “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” is an example of Archetypal theory. Some examples that prove this are when Tom, Huck, and Joe Harper go to an island and when they get tired of being on the island, Tom tells them a secret that keeps them on the island. Another example is when Tom and Becky go into a cave five miles south of the town and they go to far into the cave and they get lost. Tom takes charge of the situation and tells Becky that they should find water and he also shared the cake he had with her. The last example of Archetypal theory in “The Adventures od Tom Sawyer” is when Tom and Huck get the idea to look for buried treasure. When Tom is in the cave he sees Injun Joe, and tells Huck, who is sick right now, that he thinks he knows where the hidden treasure in of gold coins. They go back to the cave where Tom was lost and they look where Injun Joe was and find the gold coins worth about 12,000 at that time.

Review of the book I think that this is a good book because I like adventures and the entire book is about Tom and Huck Fin going on adventures. They go on many adventures. They try to get rid of warts, try to find a killer, and they attempt to find buried treasure.
