Applications Available April 1 DISCOVERING THE PAST: HISTORY AND ARCHAEOLOGY AT FORT ST. JOSEPH A Week-Long Summer Camp Program The Fort St. Joseph Archaeological Project, a collaborative partnership between Western Michigan University, the City of Niles, and the Fort St. Joseph Museum, is seeking participants for the 2016 Archaeology Summer Camps. Participants will work alongside Western Michigan University faculty, staff, and students to investigate the history and archaeology of Fort St. Joseph and its role in the Great Lakes fur trade. Activities include classroom presentations, discussions, field excavation, wet screening, record keeping, lab work, analysis, and interpretation.
