Circle A set of points equal in distance from a given point, called the center.

Radius A line segment connecting the center of the circle to a point on the circle.

Diameter A line segment which goes through the center of the circle and connects two points on the circle.

Chord A line segment which connects two points on a circle. Can a diameter be considered a chord?

Central angle An angle whose vertex is the center of a circle

Arc Piece of a circle
