Joshua is an example of FEARLESSNESS What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? - Romans 8:31:7

Samson is a warning about CARELESSNESS Watch over your heart with all diligence, For from it flow the springs of life. - Proverbs 4:23

Never be CARELESS about God’s Lesson from Samson: Never be CARELESS about God’s BLESSINGS

Saul is a warning about PRIDE But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, “God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” – James 4:6 For if you are living according to the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live. – Romans 8:13

Lesson from Saul: God’s WILL must be DONE GOD’S WAY

David is an example of BROKENNESS If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. – 1 John 1:9

Lesson from David: NO ONE is beyond GOD’S FORGIVENESS!

Psalm 51:1-12 Be gracious to me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; According to the greatness of Your compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity And cleanse me from my sin. For I know my transgressions, And my sin is ever before me. Against You, You only, I have sinned And done what is evil in Your sight, So that You are justified when You speak And blameless when You judge.

Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me. Behold, You desire truth in the innermost being, And in the hidden part You will make me know wisdom. Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness, Let the bones which You have broken rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins And blot out all my iniquities.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation And sustain me with a willing spirit.

I’m battling my own Jericho’s, but I will be fearless like Joshua I’m struggling with being like Samson and/or Saul. I am forgiven and pray my heart remains pure! I am or have invited someone to Easter at Crane Middle School! .
