Please look away now if you are squeamish of graphic images of bad animal welfare.

 One and a half acres of Rainforest are lost every second in the world due to deforestation.  Experts estimate that we are losing 137 plant, animal and insect species every single day due to rainforest deforestation. That equates to 50,000 species a year.

 Makes room for the economy.  Makes money for locals.  Provides the earths timber and paper needs.

 Kills many animals like the poor monkey on the previous page.  Stops oxygen being produced by the plants.  Destroys animals habitats.

 The wood is mainly turned into paper.  Some is turned in to furniture.  The rest is turned into whatever requirements there are.
