Overview of the Portfolio Management Project Purpose: To give you a better understanding of trading and investing. Goal: To invest a portfolio of $100,000 in a diversified selection of stocks. 1 st Priority: EVERYONE REGISTER. 2 nd Priority: Make your first trade. 3 rd Priority: Review Activity Engage in Discussion. Hand in your 2 page statement this week.

Portfolio Statement 1-2 Pages Should reflect what you have learned thus far. Try to utilize your knowledge of economics where possible. Ex. Types of Competition, Profits, Barriers to Entry, Costs, Substitutability, Differentiation, Elasticity, etc. These are all excellent ways to analyze a business. Perfection is not expected, development is. Tomorrow you will be expected to share how economics influenced your decisions.
