1)Practical teaching “They (the teachers) read from the Book of the Law of God, making it clear and giving the meaning so that the people could understand what was being read.” (Nehemiah 8:8) God gives apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers to the church “to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.” (Ephesians 4:11-12)

2)Private disciplines (habits of prayer, Bible reading, etc.) Do not let the book of the Law depart from your mouth. Meditate on it day and night SO THAT you may be careful to do everything written in it. (Joshua 1:8) All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness SO THAT the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

3)Personal ministry Each one should use whatever gift (time, talent, treasure) he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. 1 Peter 4:10
