Tic-Tac-Toe Review of Scale Factor Fill in the 9 squares with any letters A-Z (no repeats). TICTACTOE

Scale Factor Review Game! 7.rp.a.2b recognize and represent proportional relationships between quantities. b. identify the constant of proportionality (unit rate) in tables, graphs, equations, diagrams, and verbal descriptions of proportional relationships. 7.g.a.1 solve problems involving scale drawings of geometric figures, including computing actual lengths and areas from a scale drawing and reproducing a scale drawing at a different scale.

Directions We will all work on a problem on a blank sheet of paper. (using marker or pen to write your answer!) After a problem, I will ask for a volunteer to explain.  If they are correct, they may choose the letter for the class to mark off the TIC TAC TOE boards.  If they are incorrect, I will choose another volunteer. Winner will be the first to get 3 in a row

1. A building casts a shadow 45 feet long. If a stop sign 4 feet tall casts a shadow 2.5 feet long at the same time of day, how tall is the building? (Draw A Picture)

2. Find the length of x.

3. A map of Siegel Middle School has a scale of 1 ½ cm = 4.5 ft. On the map, Mrs. Ward’s classroom is has a length of 16 cm and a width of 22 cm. What is the actual length of Mrs. Ward’s classroom?

4. Find the length of x. x
