L. Tavian, TE/CRG, LSC Page 4 Repair plan for QRL compensators Thanks to VSC friends for collaboration ! K. Brodzinski

L. Tavian, TE/CRG, LSC Page 5 QRL complementary information Tightness test: Sector 3-4: will be validated when all compensators in s3-4 replaced, Sector 8-1: following request from M. Pojer we will combine the QRL test with test of repaired arc NCs – planned next week. New spares: First 5 new spares for line C was received at CERN last Monday (modified design with 3 plies ventilated and one tight). The tightness testing by VSC is underway. Two of them will be installed on the QRL at 32L4 and 22R4 The end of mechanical work is foreseen to be completed by 7 March K. Brodzinski

L. Tavian, TE/CRG, LSC Page 21 Conclusion QRL and DFBA activities: good progress Major overhauling of compressors and motors on schedule but new issue with bad motor balancing to be carefully followed. Site maintenance activity: critical activity and action plan under study Other activities are progressing well Re-commissioning of cryogenic plants has started: New issue with motor vibration to be carefully followed. Flushing of sector S67 very encouraging  Quality of SMACC work.
