Five areas of knowledge: Oral and Written Communication Scientific Inquiry, Methodologies, and Quantitative Skills World's Historical, Literary, and Philosophical Traditions Global Awareness, Cultural Diversity, and the World's Artistic Traditions Social and Self-Awareness and Responsible Citizenship

The goals of University Studies: develop students' communication skills, both oral and written encourage students to think creatively while gathering, analyzing, and evaluating information to reach logical decisions

The goals of University Studies: familiarize students with the roles and applications of science and mathematics toward resolving problems in an ever-changing world gain a critical understanding of the world's historical, literary, philosophical, and artistic traditions

Test Scores and Placement Your Advisor has placement scores (through the Summer O office and myGate. Share any additional placement information/transcripts with Advisor. You will be advised based on the scores that are available today. Your Advisor will help you to identify the courses you need to succeed!

Register for credit hours per semester Most students may register for up to 19 hours MINIMUM is 12 hours/semester for full- time status (12/semester will not get you to graduation in 4 years!) Your advisor will have a PLAN.
