Section 106 – To manage the connection of new development to the sewerage system. Planning applications – currently a non-statutory consultee. nwlpp Other Progress to date The Environment Agency have written to ANEC (Association of North East Councils) recommending that 4 sub regional flood groups be set up, namely: Northumberland Tyne and Wear Durham Tees Valley (already had 3 meetings) The 4 chairs form a regional steering group, with EA and NWL (possibly Homes and Communities Agency too ) and agree Data Sharing Protocol etc.
