What is a councillor? Councillors provide crucial two-way links between councils and their communities. They carry into the council the views of the public and explain decisions of the council to the public. Councillors Commission Being a councillor won’t make you rich or popular at times but there are fewer more important jobs than being chosen to represent your community.
