Of Percy Williams Bridgman
Percy Williams Bridgman was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on April 21st, 1882.
He got his early education in middle school. Then in 1900 he entered Harvard university. He graduated four years later and then he got his PhD in physics, four years later. And finally he became a professor at Higgins university.
He research the effects of high pressures on materials and their thermodynamic behaviour. He did extensive investigations on all sorts of different properties up to 100,00 atmosphere pressures. This is Percy

He received honorary doctor of science degrees from Stevens institutes. He received the Rumford medal, the Cresson medal, the Comstock medal and the Comstock prize. And the New York award of the research corporation.
Member of the American physics society The American association of the advancement of science. The American academy of arts and science. And all so the American philosophical society.
He married Olive Ware in Then they had two children Jane in 1914 and their son Robert in 1915.
