What is Elysium? Thinking about spirituality

 If you look in a dictionary…  The place at the ends of the earth to which certain favoured heroes were conveyed by the gods after death. What is Elysium?

 If you look at Greek mythology…  Elysium was a section of the Underworld.  The Elysian fields were the final resting place of the souls of the heroic and the virtuous What is Elysium?

 If you look in a dictionary  (as noun an Elysium) A place or state of perfect happiness. What is Elysium?

 If you look at Greek mythology…  The Elysian Fields lay on the western margin of the Earth, by the encircling stream of Oceanus (Odyssey), and there the mortal relatives of the king of the gods were transported, without tasting death, to enjoy an immortality of bliss What is Elysium?
