How does it work? Uses the Emerson (NIDEC) EC motor, a very common industry motor, the M055 Series Controller can be ordered separately The controller for the motor is specific for the designs of the Unico system. Sets a constant CFM by adjusting the RPM to conform with the Unico System fan curve

Fan Curve Uses up to 45% less energy Much slower RPM Air Handler Much Quieter In the following Slide we have – 1250 CFM at 1400 RPM (MAX) – 488 watts of power consumption – See additional speeds for Stage 1 and Fan

Unico ECM Features Doesn’t Need a Restrictor Plate Operates at 120 or 230V (different part number EC1 or EC2) Can be setup two way – Use Defaults – Program with Laptop
