The Sounds of Silence

“I have no peace! I have no quiet! I have no rest! And trouble keeps coming” Job 3:26

Margin is the space between our load and our limits. It is the amount allowed above what is needed. It is something held in reserve for contingencies or unanticipated situations. Margin is the gap between rest and exhaustion, the space between breathing freely and suffocating.

Live like you’re dying 1.Commit to regularly spend quiet time with God. Embrace Silence 2.Seek God’s plans and put Him first in everything.

Psalm 127:1-2 Message If G OD doesn’t build the house, the builders only build shacks. If G OD doesn’t guard the city, the night watchman might as well nap. It’s useless to rise early and go to bed late, and work your worried fingers to the bone. Don’t you know he enjoys giving rest to those he loves?.

Matthew 6:33-34 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own

Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5 ESV Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2

Live like you’re dying 1.Commit to regularly spend quiet time with God. Embrace Silence 2.Seek God’s plans and put Him first in everything. 3.Create margin in your life so you are spiritually, emotionally, physically prepared for God’s purposes
