Genesis 6:7-9 Lesson 1

But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Genesis 6:8 Noah was a righteous man

So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. 24 And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him. Genesis 5:23-24 Noah was a righteous man

But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Genesis 6:8 Noah was a righteous man

By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith. Hebrews 11:7 Noah was a righteous man

The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12 So God looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth. Genesis 6:11-12 Noah was perfect or blameless in his generations

This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Genesis 6:9a Noah was perfect or blameless in his generations

Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.” Numbers 20:12 Noah was perfect or blameless in his generations

Noah walked with God. Genesis 6:9b Noah was perfect or blameless in his generations

“Son of man, when a land sins against Me by persistent unfaithfulness, I will stretch out My hand against it; I will cut off its supply of bread, send famine on it, and cut off man and beast from it. Noah was perfect or blameless in his generations

Even if these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they would deliver only themselves by their righteousness,” says the Lord God. Ezekiel 14:13-14 Noah was perfect or blameless in his generations

And God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth. 14 Make yourself an ark of gopherwood; Genesis 6:13-14a Noah was chosen by God.

Thus Noah did; according to all that God commanded him, so he did. Genesis 6:22 Noah was chosen by God.

and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; 2 Peter 2:5 Noah was chosen by God.

1.Noah was a man who obeyed the Lord, and was faithful in the midst of wickedness. The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. Genesis 6:11 Conclusion

2. Seeing Noah’s courage and faith should inspire us to greater faith as well. By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith. Hebrews 11:7 Conclusion
