God sent into the world a saviour, with the power to forgive. (The Queen 2011) Jesus humbled himself by becoming obedient to death even death on a cross! (Phil 2:7,8)

Thursday morning housegroup have chosen My life is in you Lord 2000 years after his birth, many are able to find in Jesus a source of strength and courage (The Queen, 2008) For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.” (Rom 1:17)

Thank God for his written Word to us Luke 17 7 “Suppose one of you has a servant plowing or looking after the sheep. Will he say to the servant when he comes in from the field, ‘Come along now and sit down to eat’? 8 Won’t he rather say, ‘Prepare my supper, get yourself ready and wait on me while I eat and drink; after that you may eat and drink’? 9 Will he thank the servant because he did what he was told to do? 10 So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’” Thank God for his written Word to us

Thursday evening housegroup have chosen Great is thy faithfulness God sent his only Son “to serve, not be served”. He restored love and service to the centre of our lives in the person of Jesus Christ. (The Queen, 2012) God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
