Main Progress:  pCDR, completed 1)All sub-systems have ‘final” conceptual design 2)Cost estimation, iterated with Hall A/Physics Division 3)Main contents, iterations in progress  Background: (Zhiwen Zhao, Rich Holmes, Rakitha Beminiwattha) 1)Difficulties with realistic background situation, especially for PVDIS 2)Optimize design of the baffles to reduce background 3)Identify source/profile of background 4)Considerations/impacts on triggers, offline PID and tracking  EM calorimeter: (Xiaochao) 1)Simulation and study impact of background, pile-up 2)Variable level of cuts (radial and azimuthal angle) for trigger 3)Pre-shower design, MAPMTs 4)Scintillator Pad Detector (SPD) to reduce photo background. 5)Impact on trigger 6)Full simulation for SIDIS 7)Set up pre-R&D test stand (with DAQ system)  Light Cherenkov: (Michael Paolone) 1)Simulation with background 2)Combined with EC for trigger and for offline analysis.
