☺ Summary The son who goes to school tells a story about the happening after class. The author thinks the detention is a punishment, but the son says that it is really fun with some good friends. I mean, he enjoys it even though it is a penalty. His dad cannot completely understand him but tries to listen to his son very well.

☺ Vocabulary - detention [dɪ | tenʃn] [noun]when someone is arrested or put into prison, especially for political reasons. - warden [ | wɔ:rdn] [noun] a person who is responsible for a particular place or thing, and for making sure that the laws or regulations that relate to it are obeyed - penal [ | pi:nl] [ADJ] Penal means relating to the punishment of criminals - jeopardy [dƷépərdi] [PHRASE] If someone or something is in jeopardy, they are in a dangerous situation where they might fail, be lost, or be destroyed.
