Presentation Layout Product Overview Formats Traditional Bed Bathing Easy, One-step Cleansing Reduce Cross Contamination Advantages Over Basin Bathing Warmers This presentation will cover the following topics:

Product Overview These wipes are designed for bed bathing patients who are unable to access the showers. Clinell Bed Bath Wipes are the hygienic standard for pre packaged bathing. They eliminate the contamination risk from bath basins and help facilities comply with infection control guidelines.

Clinell Bedbath Wipes come in a variety of formats: Pack of 10 Pack of 6 Fragrance Free Pack of 10 Fragrance Free Pack of 6 Formats

Clinell Bedbath Wipes 10 and 5 (Wipe Size: 24x30cm)

Clinell Fragrance-Free Bedbath Wipes 10 and 5 (Wipe Size: 24x30cm)

Traditional bedbathing This multi-step approach is labour intensive, time consuming and can often lead to poor compliance. In addition to this, soap and water cleansing can dry and irritate skin, leaving it vulnerable to infection. Traditionally, both bed bathing consists of the preparation of bowls of water, the use of: Soap/cleansing foams, Washcloths, Towels, Lotions and creams.

Easy, One Step Cleansing With Clinell Bed Bath Wipes there is no need for any extra supplies or a water source. Clinell Bed Bath Wipe’s pH mirrors that of healthy skin and this has been dermatologically tested and shown to be gentle and non-irritating. > Deliver hygienic cleansing in 1 step Are more convenient than a basin bath Are more comfortable for patients Are more efficient and save staff time > > > Clinell Bed Bath’s pre moistened rinse free wipes:

Reduce Cross Contamination Clinell wipes also eliminate cross contamination because each body area is cleansed separately thereby reducing the risk of recontamination.

Advantages Over Basin Bathing The basin is a proven reservoir for contamination. One study that tested basins at different facilities in the USA found that 98% of basins were contaminated with bacteria including MRSA and VRE There are studies that show a proven link between basins and Catheter Associated Urinary Tract Infections. These infections are one of the most frequent type of infection in acute care settings. They can lead to increased length of stay and additional healthcare costs

Economical choice High quality wipes which are ultra-soft and very durable. Generous amount of rinse-free cleansers and moisturisers to bathe and soften skin. Dermatologically tested to be hypoallergenic, gentle and non- irritating. Saves nurses time bathing patients. Cheapest bed bath in the UK and more competitively priced then any leading brand. > > > > >

Warm Bathing Clinell Bedbath Wipes can be warmed to provide a more comfortable bathing experience. The wipes can be heated by storing in a Warmer or by heating in a microwave.

Warmers Clinell’s hardware includes warmers to provide convenient storage and preparation of Clinell wipes. The warmers are very good at meeting the continuous demands of busy healthcare facilities and meet the EN standard and are CE marked. These warmers are also designed for the Clinell Chlorhexidine Wash Cloths.
