Location Situated in the Sierra Nevada National Park 1700 m above the village of Capileira in Las Alpujarras. There are fantastic views down to the Poqueira Valley and the majestic Sierra de Lugar, with the snow- peaked mountains of the Mulhacen and Pico de Veleta to the north. From the door you can wander to the deserted village of Cebadilla.

From the cortijo the picturesque white-washed village of Capileira, with its restaurants, bars and shops is a leisurely 20-minute walk. The cortijo is an ideal base from which to explore Las Alpujarras, an area of outstanding beauty. From the cortijo you can see the Mediterranean coast, and on a clear day the mountains of Morocco.
