2 FY17 Market Preview Key Dates & Communication Shared information with Chiefs and Administrators in May to review planned adjustments Market adjustments are effective July 3 rd Adjustments are reflected on July 22 nd paycheck Managers will be providing Team Members with a personalized pay statement 2

3 FY17 Market Preview Adjustments Approximately 62% of employees will receive a market and/or new hire minimum adjustment The market adjustments for FY17 represent an $6M investment in our team members Every position is looked at least annually to determine market competiveness Our goal of investing in our people and our commitment to retaining and attracting key talent is demonstrated by the continued support of this program since the inception in

5 New Hiring Minimum Overview We will continue to align with the University minimum hire rate and will increase it to $12.38/hr We are committed to taking care of our team members as they take care of our patients This philosophy aligns with our values of respect and dignity and helps ensure that some of our lower-paid team members are paid fairly and competitively for the contributions they make to our patients and the communities we serve Along with updating our new hire minimum we are taking this opportunity to recalculate the lower pay ranges to allow for greater salary growth and combining some ranges to allow for a meaningful difference 5
