Solvency II Tripartite template V2 and V3 Presentation of the conversion tools proposed by FundsXML France

Four modules are included in the package: ❶ Conversion from CSV to XML in TPT V2 standard ❷ Conversion from XML TPT V2 to XML TPT V3 ❸ Conversion from XML to CSV in TPT V3 standard ❹ Conversion from CSV to XML in TPT V3 standard The modules are directly executable : no need of any other software. Each module can be used independently of the others. The modules can also be used in sequence: see flow chart on next slide. A batch version of each program exists, to allow high volumes processing. To run the modules, a Java * runtime environment is necessary, with a compiler level 1.6 or more. Introduction * Latest version of Java can be downloaded at or (French version)

Content of the package "Conversions" Executable Java modules of conversion. Same number as in the flow chart. Documentation of the package Including this presentation Files used by the modules, including default sample files. Sample files are circled in red Others are working files XML schemas which the XML files of the package refer. Extra sample files which can be used for several functional tests of the TPT V2 or V3, in CSV or XML format.

List of available schemas in folder Conversions/Schemas "Core" XML schema the XML files of the package refer. XML schema of the XML message TPT V2 XML schema of the XML message TPT V3. It is a "Satellite" which uses components of the "Core" FundsXML3.2.xsd Other schemas are for Intermediary files.

The XML schemas are not necessary for running the modules They can be used to validate your input XML files An XML editor is necessary for this validation Output XML files created by the modules are automatically assigned to the appropriate XML schema. See example below: About the XML schemas of the package

Refer to the document "MigrationV2toV3" in the folder "Documentation" for more details about the differences between V2 and V3 (English and French versions provided). The CSV files manipulated by the conversion modules have their first record containing the TPT fields numbers and names. The names are very close to the XML path in FundsXML version. This can help to check CSV content vs XML schema and data. About the CSV files

A batch version of each program is provided, with its name finishing with "_Batch.jar". To launch it, a command file is necessary, for instance : In this case, only the Windows Command window opens, in which log messages are displayed. An unlimited number of processings can be run with a single command file. Batch processing
