Research Value of University Archives  Foundation for scholarship, communication, and civic participation  Provide students with first-hand accounts of historical events—brings history alive!  Accessing, analyzing, and writing projects based on primary sources reinforce critical thinking; foundation for life-long learning  Support the inclusion of primary sources into the curriculum mandated by state and national bodies
