LQM01 coil parameters & instrumentation LQ coil # 14 in a mirror structure with a welded skin 0.7 mm Nb 3 Sn RRP 114/127 (same filament size as in RRP 108/127 strand) E-Glass insulation Protection heaters only on the outer coil surface Voltage tabs on both the inner and outer coils to locate quench origin Strain gauges mounted on the coil pole, skin and bullets Titanium pole instrumented with temperature compensated full bridges measuring the strain in the azimuthal and axial directions
