Steering Committee of HEPTech, 28 th October 2014, CERN Barbora Gulejová WORKSHOP on PRACTICAL IP CASES Danube Innovation Partnership Summer School on Technology Transfer  How could we proceed in order to benefit from the connection between HEPTech and Danube Innovation Partnership (DIP)?  How the DIP could take advantage from the expertise of HEPTech Network? Danube region countries: - lot of free knowledge and IP available - not protected - great potential to be commercialised or transferred to the industry - EARLY STAGED TT OFFICES (except Germany and Austria)

Steering Committee of HEPTech, 28 th October 2014, CERN Barbora Gulejová WORKSHOP on PRACTICAL IP CASES HEPTech – most of the Danube region countries: Germany (2 nodes) Czech Republic (2 nodes) Romania (1 node) Bulgaria (1 node) Slovenia (1 node) Slovakia (at least 1 node will become member soon) Serbia (1 node will become member soon) Moldova (not yet MS of CERN, but very interested to become a member of HEPTech) Croatia (detto)

Steering Committee of HEPTech, 28 th October 2014, CERN Barbora Gulejová WORKSHOP on PRACTICAL IP CASES Organise 1-2 days event: - focused on solving the concrete practical cases and problems -ask the nodes and participants of DIP SS to prepare the case studies to be addressed by JRC/HEPTech panel of experts - tangible feedback and lessons learned which could be used in real life even if the context would be different - offer the guidance of advanced TTOs from HEPTech to the early staged ones IP protection of nodes: -make abstractions to cases (keeping only the context of the problem) -sign the disclosure/confidentiality agreement LINKEDIN GROUPS: JRC Danube Innovation Partnership HEPTech JOIN!!!
