Lepton-flavor-violating  decays SM: Clean probe for New Physics 2014/5/23 11

Exciting Prospects New Physics 2014/5/23 12

Hadronic Tau Decay Only lepton massive enough to decay into hadrons Clean probe for low-energy hadronic system. Offer unique tools for precision study of low energy QCD. Theoretically: Inclusive Br is cleaner than exclusive. Experimentally: Need to add exclusive measurements to obtain inclusive one. 2014/5/23 13

Low-energy QCD ? Is this interesting? Experimentary: Exotic hadrons from experimental side. There are a lot of theoretical interests. Lattice, Chiral-Perturbation,,, (Famous as a difficult problem) AdS/CFT (Gravity/QCD) correspondence from String Theory QCD: strong coupling limit (+large Nc ) in 4 dimension Gravity (AdS) in 5 dimension (week coupling) One can obtain the low-energy hadron properties from (5D) gravity !!??! You need not believe it but it is interesting! Black hole vs Quark Gluon plasma 2014/5/23 25

z: 5 th coordinate Five Dimensional anti-de Sitter space z is the fifth coordinate z variable acts as a scaling variable in Minkowski-space. z correspond to the different energy scales at which the hadron is examined. Brodsky, Teramond 2014/5/23 26
