Cell Analogy Computer

Cell Wall The case of a computer is like the cell wall.

Centrioles The monitor stand is like the Centrioles because it provides support.

Chloroplasts A solar powered keyboard is like the chloroplasts of a cell because it converts light into energy.

Cytoplasm The hard drive in a computer is like the cytoplasm.

Rough ER The ribbon cables in a computer are like the Rough ER because the move data like the ER moves ribosomes.

Smooth ER Anti Virus software is like Smooth ER because it removes harmful items from the cell.

Golgi Bodies The RAM in a computer is like Golgi Bodies because they both pack in items.

Lysosomes The recycle bin in a computer is like lysosomes because they both remove items.

Mitochondria The power button on a computer is like the mitochondria because it gives the computer power.

Nucleolus Computer coding is like the nucleolus because the nucleolus is like DNA.

Nucleus The mother board is like the nucleus because it controls everything on the computer.

Plasma Membrane A monitor screen protector is like the plasma membrane.

Ribosomes A computers cache is like ribosomes because it combines data together.

Vacuoles The delete key is like the vacuoles because it gets rid of something that is not needed.
