Jesus said to His disciples and to us today, “Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields, that they are white for harvest” (John 4:35).

Margaret and I went to the Philippines in 1970 and later began ministry in other countries of Asia, Latin America, Africa, as well as Europe. In Africa 2003 In Cuba 2006

The Philippines, specifically, has over 100 million people, and even though the church has grown, it is estimated that as few as 3% of the population are evangelicals who know Christ as Savior by grace through faith alone; this leaves up to 97 million people without Christ!

Our work consists of church and leadership development, mentoring needy pastors, and taking the gospel to needy children, the poor in slums, prostitutes, and those in prison or jail.

Christian Growth Ministries One of our major ministries is with needy pastors. Our partner Christian Growth Ministries (CGM) (a national Filipino ministry) seeks to train, encourage and equip some of the 41,000 untrained and undertrained pastors throughout the country. CGM provides study Bibles and evangelical study books through a book store, conferences, and seminars for training and encouragement for needy pastors.

Needy Pastors in the Philippines The day of sending missionaries, ages 40 to 75, to the Philippines is not over, unless one decides, of course, to neglect the 41,000 needy pastors of the country who have no training and few resources, many who earn less than $20 monthly. Bible Seminar

Grow International Ministries Grow International Ministries (the mission our son Robby ministers with) and CGM seeks to reach these needy children with the gospel where they live on the streets, as well as through camp work, feeding programs, daycare centers, one-on-one discipleship, vocational training, and the establishment of a Christian school for the extreme poor.
