Flag of the UK Description National flag of the UK is composed of one down and one cross strip. There are also two crossed strips which run from top left corner to bottom right one and from top right to bottom left. On the flag of the UK there are three colours: blue, white and red. The red cross is a symbol of Saint George who is patron of England. There is also white cross which is symbol of Saint Andrew who is patron of Scotland. Wales isn’t represented on the flag. It has got a different versions which are shown on the occasion of various events. Types flags of the UK: -National -Civil -State -Naval
