The Green Baby By CREATORS

What is «The Green Baby» A green (sophisticated & forested) boat-island going around the world in 1 year A constant number of people – missionaries on TGB planning and organizing 7 annual events worldwide Environmental sustainability is the theme of the events Geographically specific topics to be covered at the events The most fun way of making the world a better place

Vision of «CREATORS» A platform to seek community based solutions for pressing global environmental problems Podium for get-togethers of people with different social, cultural, and professional backgrounds Creating and maintaining a worldwide buzz about environmental issues and acting sustainably

We asked... Do the current initiatives for environmental awareness produce sustainable solutions and is this enough for people to start acting sustainably? Raising awareness still is not a one day process and people are not prone to change easily their mentalities and perceptions. It is up to, especially, the young generations to continue trying different ways and methods in order to produce sustainable results in terms of the environment… Mainly we are at the beginning of our way of environmental rehabilitation. If we want to gain results in a more appropriate way we should do as much as possible to manage really tangible effect. Only few people are preoccupied with ecological thinking and absolutely not enough to solve the problem at the international arena... Simona - Macedonia Irina - Russia Sounds amazing! I think the world already needs some sort of a similar solution… People find fun more and more scarce, and this will be a peripetum mobile… DeAnna – Professor, USA What do you think about The Green Baby? It is a very fresh, interesting concept… It makes you think and puts a smile on your face… It would truly be beautiful, it really comes from far outside of “the box.” Also, I see additional creative opportunities … Assia - Belarus No, the necessities worldwide can not be put in one bucket, they need to be tailored and more focused for an impact… I hope that’s what’s happening in the future! Aleksandar - Macedonia

We will interview: Wangari Maathai Nobel Peace Prize Winner 2004 One of the very few most influential Environmentalists alive. Has been thoroughly recognized as a high achiever. Questions we plan to ask: Do you think climate and environmental changes are unavoidable? If yes, how could we adjust our way of living to survive them? How can we engage every human being in acting environmentally sustainable? What do you think will be the biggest environmental challenges in the future? How do you find the idea for “The Green Baby”?
