Technology What We are Doing –News Crew Student led school-wide news team Creates a segmented news show broadcast over School Fusion Incorporates Writing, Direction, and Creation of information through Technology –School Fusion Teacher created WebPages Student interaction (Assignments, Wiki’s, Calendars, and Blogs) –Webcams Every teacher has webcam in the classroom Can be used to video presentations, lessons, or document camera Video can be uploaded to School Fusion Page for absent students –Teleconference Allows students to learn through shared lessons with other classes around the world. Teachers can collaborate with other educators outside of their building

Technology Impact –Communication The use of School Fusion has allowed teachers and parents to open a line of communication that was not there before. The use of letters, phone calls, s, and school fusion gives the parents a variety of ways to communicate with their child's teacher. – Immediate Feedback The use of technology through programs like AimsWeb, Thinklink, and formative assessments provides the teacher with immediate feedback on student progress. Thus allowing the teacher to make adjustments within the unit of teaching. – Identify Gaps Technology has provided teachers with an easier way to identify student achievement gaps. Through CPS and GradeCam, teachers can identify those gaps and address those needs more quickly than ever before.
