Our City: A Place Where People Live, Work, and Play City – City Planner – Zones - An important place of business, where people live, work, and play. A person who decides what types of building go where in a city. Land areas set aside in a city for certain purposes, such as housing or businesses.

Goods - Services - Items that are bought and sold. Work done for others, such as haircuts or car repairs.

Our City: A Place Where People Spend Money Taxes –Fees charges by a government.

Income – Need – Want – Cash – Check – Credit Card – Debit Card – Electronic Payment – Money earned for work. Something you cannot live without. Something you would like to have but could do without. Money in the form of bills or coins. A written order to a bank to pay money to a person or business. A card that allows users to buy things through a personal loan.
