Performance Rating Scale Not Demonstrated – No awareness or no growth Developing – Demonstrated adequate growth but did not demonstrate competence on standard(s) of performance. Proficient – Demonstrated basic competence on standard(s) of performance. Accomplished – Exceeded basic competence on standard(s) of performance most of the time. (Natural and easy; used almost all time) Distinguished – Consistently and significantly exceeded basic competence on standard(s) of performance (teaches others; impact is wider)
