Butchery aims – exemplar answer To increase the spend of each customer- Currently average spend is £35, they could aim to increase this to £45. If the average spend of each customer increased they would gain more money from sales as customers will be spending more than the current average of £35 on each visit to the Butchery. They use promotional methods to encourage the customers to spend more, such as offering a selection of products in a hamper for a promotional price. For example they offer a breakfast box which includes meats such as bacon, sausages and black pudding and eggs, for just £20. This makes customers buy more products and they are getting good deals for the hampers so they are also more likely to buy extra items. Therefore this will result in a higher average spend per customer. What makes this a good answer?
