Introducing: Todd Zambrano

Hello Class, I am Todd Zambrano Hello Class, I am Todd Zambrano! I look forward to the ride with all of you! I currently reside in Iowa City, Iowa. I do not, nor have I ever lived on a farm. Iowa city is the location of the University of Iowa, where I received my BA in Sociology and where I am a current Graduate student, in Social work.

I attended public schools my whole life I attended public schools my whole life. I currently am a substitute teacher and a coach, at the high school level. I have had a variety of careers along the way, from sales to social work. I have two beautiful daughters and have had the luxury of coaching them in basketball and soccer. My children are the most important thing in my life and I devote all my free time to them. One of the most important things growing up was school. I came from a very hard childhood and school was an escape. I had a coach that took me under his wing and mentored me into a man, when I had no positive male role models. He would feed me, take me to church, and was crucial to my recruiting process, all while teaching valuable life lessons.

I look forward to becoming a full time teacher in the future I look forward to becoming a full time teacher in the future. I feel obtaining my Master’s degree will enable me to have a better chance to teach at varying levels. I also have an emphasis on family services, allowing me to be able to work with families and perhaps do some counseling, or more social work. “The only thing that interferes with my learning is my education.” Albert Einstein I look forward to the journey with this class.
