UC Irvine uses the online collaborative training program, CITI, to ensure that all research personnel have the appropriate and necessary training to conduct research with human subjects, laboratory animals, and stem cells. The following slides will guide you through registration and training enrollment.

CITI Registration You’ll be automatically directed to UCI’s secure log-in page:

CITI Registration If you have an established CITI account, the UCI login will take you directly to your Main Menu page. From the Main Menu, click on “Add a Course of Update Learner Groups” If you don’t have a CITI account yet, the UCI login process will walk you through the registration. CITI will grab most of the information it needs from the UCI record linked to your ID.

Each course has specific enrollment questions to help determine which are required for your research. Once you have completed all of the questions, you will be returned to your Main Menu screen, where you will see the courses you need to complete:
