Property Preservation Pre-sale Activities During the foreclosure process, the mortgage documents state that the Mortgagee has the legal authority to take actions to protect its collateral interest. At this time, they can neither deny access to the mortgagor nor give access to anyone without their authority.

Property Preservation Post-sale Activities Servicer assumes full ownership of the property following the foreclosure sale, lifting prior legal limitations. Focused on expeditiously returning the property to a marketable condition. All interior debris can be removed from the property and damages can be addressed.

Create open lines of communication between our clients and code enforcement officials. Ensure compliance issues at properties under our management are correctly mitigated in accordance with local standards. Inform local contractors of existing code compliance issues, current problems, or potential hazards for the purpose of fostering a proactive approach to preserving and maintaining properties. Safeguard’s Code Enforcement Department is responsible for preventing and resolving problems with code compliance on properties in our care.
