Preparing for Chemistry Local Final and Chemistry Regents

Local Final: Wednesday June 5 (3B) Thursday June 6 (1A, 2A) Regents Exam: June 18 (Tuesday) All work must be completed before then.

You have 8-10 days between the end of classes and the regents exam I will be giving you a few assignments on topics that many of you haven’t done in awhile: Organic Chemistry Physical Properties (including gas laws, liquids, solids, energy relationships, phase changes) Nuclear Chemistry

After Classes Are Finished: Three Castle Learning assignments: Nuclear Chemistry Greatest Hits (35 questions) Organic Chemistry Greatest Hits (35 questions) Physical Properties Greatest Hits (35 questions) These three assignments are posted now. You must complete all three by June 18.

Review Sessions These continue through next week. Tomorrow’s session moved to Friday (faculty meeting)

Three Castle Learning Quizzes (10 points each) Nuclear Chem Quiz Organic Quiz Phys Prop Quiz These will be posted next week; they must be completed by June 18. Lowest 10-point quiz this quarter (out of 6) will be dropped!

These assignments should take around 90 minutes to complete… You should also: Print out copies of two recent exams, do them to get feel for the testrecent exams Attend review sessions whenever possible Look over powerpoints, especially review power points, on websitepowerpoints

Lab Reports You need to finish all labs, lab reports, this week. A minimum of 20 labs in folder are required to sit for regents exam

Retests Retests are still available for all tests, redox- electrochem quiz (cannot be dropped)
