INSTRUCTIONS By Lilian Marchesoni  On each slide, elicit from students the name of the animals and the shapes they can see.  Play hot potato so that students can ask each other “How many (triangles) are there?” for each of the animals. Click on the slide to start the animation and see the questions and answers.  As a follow-up, you can have students cut out shapes and form one of the animals presented or one they come up with. They can make a poster and write down the number of shapes they used to design their animals.
