Manifold Block “A” Container Components Allows Flow to Container Rod End When Energized Allows Return Flow From Container Rod End When Energized Allows Flow to Container Cap End When Energized Blocks Return Flow From Container Cap End When Energized

Container Opening Operation During container open, pump flow is directed to both the Cap end and the Rod end of the container cylinders. Since the Cap end area is twice the area of the Rod end (therefor twice the force), the cylinders extend, opening up the container.

Container Opening Operation With H5 energized during Container opening, the rod end oil is short circuited back into the cap end. This 50% (1/2 the cap end area) additional oil causes the Container to open 1.5 times faster. This is referred to as a Regenerative Circuit.
