Multimob Routing Optimization (1/2)  Combines the two drafts: Direct Routing and MTMA (M-LMA) providing a more complete solution to the routing convergence problem  Addresses the Use Cases presented by Thomas in Quebec  Solution provides optimal access to content located either in the Local or in the Remote network

Multimob Routing Optimization (1/2)  MAG decides whether a multicast subscription should be made in the local network or to the remote (e.g. Home) PMIP domain  MAG can be an MLD Proxy or a Multicast Router  Decisions can be based on subscription model, which could be pre-configured or dynamically configured by operator (e.g. [I-D.gundavelli-netext-pmipv6-sipto- option]
