 Our explorer sailed for Spain for the king and queen. Who our explorer sailed for.

 He started his first major voyage in 1493 and ended his last in  In he started a voyage to set out for Puerto Rico.  Again in 1513, he sailed to Folorida in search of the fountain of youth. Although he never found the magical waters, he created a new settlement in Folorida. Our explorer’s voyage dates

 His first denstination he wanted to make was to the “New World”.  He instead landed on the island Hispaniolia.  He later sailed to Peurto Rico in search of gold.  Finally, he sailed to Florida in search of the magical waters of the fountain of youth. Our explorer’s intended destination

 He supposedly discovered gold in Puerto Rico.  He never found the fountain of youth, but he discovered Folorida for Spain to claim. Our explorer’s discoveries

 He was made the governor of Hispaniolia.  He possibly searched for the fountain of youth but sadly never found the magical waters.  His first voyage was with Christopher Columbus but he stopped at Hispaniolia to dwell there  He discovered Florida, claimed it for Spain, and he started a settlement there Interesting facts
