When multiplying two binomials, you can use the FOIL Method. FOIL is a series of four steps using the Distributive Property to multiply two binomials. First Outer Inner Last

x 2 + 6x + 3x + 18 Combine like terms. x 2 + 9x + 18

In our class this means that we will end up multiplying binomials by polynomials as our largest polynomial multiplication. Basically all you need is the distributive property!
