Which dialects do people speak in your country? Geographical distribution? In Italy there are as many dialects as many regions. In Italy there are 20 regions.

Name the most important writers/poets in your country? The most important writers and poets in my country are: Collodi, Calvino, Collodi Rodari, Leopardi, Manzoni and Dante. Leopardi Manzoni Dante

Which is your favourite word? My favourite word is «arte». That is the best word to represent our country.

What about immigrants? Which languages do they speak? Do they stick to their own languages? In Italy there are many immigrants from all over the World. They sometimes speak Italian but among them they prefer to speak their language.

Which special letters/accents do you have in your language? In my country we use the international alphabet with 26 letters. We have two tipycal accents: -acute accent - is used in voweles è,ò with closed sound. -grave accent - used in vowels à, è, ì, ò, ù with open sound. pèsca pésca
