Elijah and the widow

What is prophet??

Famine took over the land of gilead…….wait what is famine ??? Is there any trees or plant? Is there any food we can eat? Is there any rain?

That’s how dried land look like!!!

God told Elijah to live by the Brook of Cherith and to be fed by the reavens….. Did Elijah say yes or no??

But the Brook water dried out, so God told Elijah to go stay with the widow at zarepath

He went to zarepath where he saw the widow at the city gate, gathering sticks

So he asked her for water and food, she told him that all she has is enough for her and her son before they die but Elijah promised her that the bin of flour will never be empty again until God send rain on earth!

Did she obey??

Wait what about her son, what happened to him???

The son got sick and the widow told Elijah, why did he have to come. Was it to remember her sins and punish her by killing her son?

So Elijah stertched himself on the kid three times, and he prayed to God to heal him……..did God hear his prayers???

Yes, God heard his prayer. Then Elijah brought him back to his mother saying, “ see you son lives!”
